A wood insert is a cylindrical part obtained by successive turning operations. These operations aim to obtain an external thread specific to its installation in wood as well as an internal thread. The WOOD insert will only be installed by self-tapping in wooden materials in order to either reinforce it and or to allow the assembly of a second component using a screw that will join into the tapping of the insert.
