The rectified pin is a circular metal shaft whose diameter tolerance is very precise, that is to say less than 10 microns. This precision is obtained by a secondary grinding operation. This precision will allow the rectified pin to be perfectly adjusted in the housing (s) in which it will be engaged. This precision of a few microns on the diameter can also be used for very precise positioning.
